It's funny that people will remember to get their car serviced regularly, but forget that a riding mower needs the same care and attention you give your car. In fact, a riding mower has most of the same mechanical parts that you car has - just smaller.
A well maintained mower - whether it's a riding mower or a push mower - can last just as long as a full size tractor. And no doubt you've seen tractors from the 30's, 40's and 50's that still run like tops! To accommodate the difference in size from a full size tractor to these smaller versions, we have specialized equipment in our service department that are made specifically for servicing mowers. We recommend getting your mower serviced once a year. You wouldn't drive your car for a year without changing the oil. When the oil in your mower works through an entire summer and then sits through a long cold winter, it can lose viscosity. If it's not changed in the Spring, that oil might not protect your engine as well as it should. |
We stock maintenance and repair parts for many brands of engines, farm, industrial and turf equipment in our parts department
If we don’t have the parts you need in stock, we can bring them in shortly, but if you are in a hurry, we can usually get them overnight from our suppliers. We can offer OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or aftermarket parts for most newer equipment. In addition we can also offer good used parts for older equipment. In order to supply the correct parts we need to identify the model and serial number of the piece of equipment. For engine parts we need to identify model, type and code as marked on the engine. Often you can find the part numbers you need on the internet on sites such as Ariens, Billy Goat, Agco, and Briggs and Stratton. Parts can be picked up over the counter from our parts department, or we can arrange shipment at your expense. |
